I just haven't met you yet.

Mojo jojo's 21st @ Renshaw, Philharmonic Court, Baa Bar and Mood. (16/11)

We went for dinner at this really nice swanky restaurant and basically had the whole place to ourselves since it was a Monday night. Score!

The whole bunch of us.

The theme of the night was 'Rainbow' so each wore a colour assigned to us at random.

Dinner! Nom nom nom! It's so nice to take a break from cooking. :)

After dinner, we headed back to our hall to suprise Jo which turned out pretty well. :) Me, Boon and Mich quickly went back to do the preparation while the rest got Jo in the kitchen. Then, we proceeded with some drinking games!

Crying her eyeballs out. :p

Cyclops cupcake which was a smiley face gone wrong.

You betcha! ;p

Yang sebelah kiri agak comel kan? :D

Around 11 we headed to Baa Bar! Super love the drinks there but it was so dead since it was a Monday night.

Since it was pretty dead, my flatmate suggested to go down town to Mood which turned out to be crazy pack. So we went minus some of the girls.

LOL random dude!

You write such pretty words but life's no storybook.

My parcels packed with Milo have finally arrived!

Me and Milo go a long long way back since the days when my dad used to make a cup each for me, mommy and Titi right before bedtime and we'd huddle together on the bed to drink while fighting with Titi to see who gets which cup. Damn good times, good times. Before I came to the UK I had this ritual of starting and ending my day with a cup of Milo. The best part was during school Pa would make me cup and then my mom would do it when I started college. Some of my friends say I'm such a brat when I tell them this but hey, better spoilt and pampered than unloved and neglected I say! This however led to a rather embarrassing incident. I usually shouted from my room after I got up 'Mommy Milo pleaseee!' and would proceed to get ready. So one day I forgot that Titi was having his BM tuition in my dining room and bah, his BM tuition teacher (who was my BM tuition teacher!) and his bunch of friends heard me call out for Milo. That was a FML moment. My mom said she felt so embarassed too. Haha.

So that's my Milo story.

Mmm off to savour a cup of cocoa goodness. :)

Find your freedom in the music, find your Jesus, find your cupid.

Manchester (7/11)

We covered Old Trafford and Chinatown then ended the one day trip with a musical - Chicago! Totally worth watching since I'm pretty sure they'll never come to Malaysia cause they were all dancing in lingerie. :S Haha so strange that people actually brought their kids to watch a musical based on violence, adultery and greed. Too bad our seats weren't that great and the grand tier, where we sat was so bloody high. :/ Thought I was going to die when I had to walk to my seat.

Had awesome dim sum at Pacific, Chinatown. Will most definitely be going there again for the unbelievably AMAZING steamed custard bums and deep fried squid. Nom nom nom! I saw ang mohs eating there and having wine with their dim sum! BLASPHEMY I say!

Next stadium... Anfield!

HAHAHAHA! :D

The United Trinity: George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton and... Jude Law. Haha.

Players Changing Room

Where they placed the jerseys is where the actual players sit and apparently Ferdinand likes to eat Jaffa cakes before a match!

The tunnel where the players come out, the tour guide even played music with the background noise of people cheering to give us a feel of what it's like to go out the tunnel. :)

DIM SUM. Nom nom nom! Keeps the Chinese in me sane. Better than the one back in Liverpool.

At the Palace. Waiting at my seat was horrible, filled with gruesome thoughts of accidentally plunging down below. Damn fear of heights. :(

So that concludes my awesome Saturday!

Are we human or are we dancer?

Halloween was all sorts of.. EPICNESS! :)

We had a bit of a rough start - we left for the club much later than planned, it was cold and I went out without a coat (most macho thing I've ever done) and when we finally got there we realised we didn't have enough cash to cover the entry fee for one of us. It was so ridiculous that they didn't accept debit cards at the counter but they did at the bar! Also, the Cube was crazy pack with people. But after awhile once, we re-grouped all was good. ;) My only biggest regret that night was not taking a picture with this random guy who dressed as Rorschach.

In case you were wondering, most of the pictures were taken in my room and I learnt a valuable lesson - goddamn heels should be left at home. No more heels for me! Legs ached like crap :( But clubbing here is all sorts of fun! You actually see policemen patrolling around, no dodgy motorcyclists, the clubs are all non-smoking and there's such a nice mix of music. They don't play every RnB song known to mankind. Woo!

Okay time for a well deserved nap.

Come writers and critics, who prophesize with your pen.

Alright!

After a gruesome week of hard work and fretting about my future, it's time to dress up and drink up for Halloween! It's a well earned reward especially with the excruciatingly long week I had. At one point, I was emo-ing about my future but that's for another post. Tutorials are not fun. :( I worked my butt off for my first EU seminar, only to come to class and discover that it was cancelled due to some technical error. Boo. Damn computerised system!

I had some setbacks with my accommodation too. First no working heater and then no electricity (I was so worried my beloved tub of Belgium Chocolate Haagen Daez would turn into a gooey inedible mess). Also, on one fine evening no hot water and on another occasion, no Internet. Nothing like a string of unfortunate events to dampen your spirits while you struggle with work.

But, all is good again when the weekend comes. Nothing like snuggling in bed with a good book and a supply of comfort food to heal the weary soul. Speaking of food, I think I'm spending way too much on groceries. I told my mom how much I spent and she said that the same amount could feed a family of four. Does she mean I eat as much as a family of four? :/

Oh well. My weight is the very least of my worries. *pats tummy affectionately*

Yay! So very psyched up for the very first Halloween I'm celebrating. Sigh, I know I'm boring, even I bore myself sometimes.

Tahs!
